Gut Oggau über Brutal: From our biodynamic vineyards comes a singular new Brutal, crafted from rare red PIWI grape varieties of Austrian genetic origin,  cultivars never before planted outside the experimental nursery rows where they were bred.
Cultivated in traditional Stockkultur on quartz-rich soils, each vine stands individually staked, free of wires or trellising, drawing raw mineral energy from the crystalline bedrock.
The result is a delicious, untamed expression: deeply pigmented, electric with tension, and unmistakably Brutal in spirit, a living document of Austrian viticultural heritage reborn through fungus-resistant genetics and uncompromising natural winegrowing. The vineyards themselves worked by horses, no heavy machines, with a resulting unbridled spirit found in the wine itself. 
This edition of Brutal is uplifting, energizing, and unmistakably vitalizing. It is bright with a playful animating touch. This is the sort of wine you want to keep drinking, and therein lies the cruelty: you'll want more, but there simply isn't much. Once these bottles are gone, they're gone.
